Financial Aid

BCA’s tuition fees are very competitive and have been designed to assist those who may not otherwise be able to afford career training. BCA understands the numerous challenges of clients who are trying to make it in today’s competitive world. As such, it has also arranged a wide variety of financial aid options listed below:

Lines of Credit

BCA is able to connect its students to various financial institutions that offer lines of credit for people taking professional preparation courses. Our network of financial advisers can connect you with the best student credit line that is right for you.

Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC)

ESDC provides government grants and funding opportunities to support individuals in jobs, training, skills, and social development. Find out more about ESDC by speaking with one of our student support personnel.

Second Career – Employment Ontario

The Second Career program is a grant provided by the Ministry of Labour Training and Skills Development. Second Career is financial support to give laid off and unemployed individuals the opportunity to get new job skills and career training in high-demand industries in Ontario.

Second Career provides funding up to $28,000 for:

    • Tuition
    • Books, Manuals, Workshops
    • Travel and Transportation
    • Living expenses
    • Child care

How to Qualify for Second Career:

    • If you have been laid off or unemployed since January 1, 2005.
    • You may be eligible to apply for funding if you are working part-time (less than 20 hours per week) in temporary jobs to cover costs
    • You may be eligible to apply for funding if you are on employment insurance (E.I.) or were on E.I. in the last three years

Lifelong Learning Program (LLP)

The LLP allows you to withdraw funds from your Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP) to finance full-time training or education for you or your spouse or common-law partner. For more information, please visit Lifelong Learning Plan.
